Effective 1st January 2026, all postal services operated by the Postal Services Department will operate under PosBru, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Darussalam Assets Sendirian Berhad and regulated by the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry, AiTi as a “Public Postal Licensee". The official introduction of the company was held during the Open Day for the Corporatisation of the Postal Services Department at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, 10th December morning.
In his speech, Awang Haji Hairul Mohd Daud bin Haji Abdul Karim, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications also shared the strategic direction in implementing the Department's corporatisation policy. Through the new corporate model, PosBru will gradually improve customer experience, including through a more modern and responsive approach. The corporatisation reflects the country's efforts to ensure that postal services remain relevant, efficient and responsive in the face of changing global digital landscapes.
